A little ...As ever, nicely written and easily read. A little embarrassing being reminded how much better a fresh rear is than a clapped out one, no? Nothing better than fresh hoops.

The things that come to one when on a long road trip are often unanticipated and sometimes discomforting, but we grow a little closer to understanding how we relate to the greater world around us if we allow ourselves the benefit of hearing the bad with the good. Whatever awaits you in your work, adventures and musings you are kind enough to write it down and post it, so maybe someone like me can read it and be renewed a little. Much appreciated.mattacmehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07837266189571625265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2164874096778415414.post-72200539938982893382016-09-24T13:40:23.998-06:002016-09-24T13:40:23.998-06:00My bike is "a toy easily dropped from my life...My bike is "a toy easily dropped from my life with little consequence " No f#####g way ! The Old Schoolhouse Brewery serves good food and drink, and during the summer months, anyway, offers local live music. Met more locals than tourists there on the several occasions I've visited. There's also a plethora of activities to do nearby; to wit, visiting the original smokejumper base that originated the concept of firefighters jumping into the fray. The dour and sour has a place -- I enjoy that in your writing from time to time -- but I think the lack of pie has hit you hard. Years ago (like 40+), I used to pass through there and it was the quintessential small town, even serving lemon meringue pie at the local eatery. But with their previous mainstays of logging and farming becoming the exception rather than the rule, I probably shouldn't be surprised.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03516251669228331691noreply@blogger.com
