H...I wouldn't say JT is doing this for himself. He had a vision and was given the means to create it, but it isn't a selfish endeavour in any sense. He hopes that his project will benefit the ADMCi and push design, and the thought processes surrounding design, forward. He recently related to me, with great enthusiasm, how one patented process developed by an outside party was directly influenced by the project and will be used in the construction of the three "production" machines. This was the first result outside of the commission that was inspired by the Legacy, and a good sign of how this project can have a positive impact on the world (not just within the motorcycle industry). There will be some that call this example extreme and ridiculous, the same way that a person who doesn't understand or appreciate 'Haute Couture' considers the top fashion designers self-indulgent narcissists.

Nesbitt has a vision that only he can realize. Is that genius? Who's to say. "Leap of insight"? Time will tell. Does my opinion count? Not a bit. The only person Nesbitt has to please is himself. Who can argue with that? A genius is one who displays exceptional intellectual ability, creativity, or originality, typically to a degree that is associated with the achievement of an unprecedented leap of insight. Do you see any of that in Nesbitt's Legacy bike?Matt Zeregahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01801894265481961334noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2164874096778415414.post-78074335878993663712014-05-01T09:20:17.187-06:002014-05-01T09:20:17.187-06:00You are not a genius just for getting a patent. You are not a genius just for getting a patent.Luckyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16375089345587059036noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2164874096778415414.post-53113954223103752702014-03-02T12:52:39.336-07:002014-03-02T12:52:39.336-07:00The man is a genius. He talked me through the Wraith a few months before Katrina hit and I was hooked as soon as he explained the concept of motorcycling evolving from a fuselage idea rather than a bicycle. Seeing a naked Wraith frame – a chassis without a single weld – and feeling the weight, or lack of it, in the forks that promised consistent wheelbase and steering geometry regardless of suspension travel, I wondered how the motorcycle industry had got to where it is without anyone having spotted it before!

Fascinated by this new bike, and hoping to one day seeing one in the metal.Andy@AmVhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02245482379942364551noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2164874096778415414.post-53467775114236599712013-12-02T14:34:09.861-07:002013-12-02T14:34:09.861-07:00I noticed they have registered 8 patents
